1-9-09 Mixing Pt1. Booty Band "Greatest Hips Vol. II" Comes to an End.
Fri Jan 9, 2009
After a week long days mlixing and great cookin' from Greg Hollowell of Yo mamas Big Fat Booty Band, we  are very excited  for the tracks thus far towards the live album project known as "Greatest Hips Vol II". We Have made it through song selection, consisting of  fan favorites like "Booty Show and Flea Bite", to some new favorite such as "Shadow N' Sun" and "The Chase".  Initial Track clean-up, EQ and compression,  and began a strong mix of the tracks to the first feedback point of the mixing process.  The week was full of laughs, stories, and computer  error sickness.  "Please insert card here", became the final word of each day, and provided a good laugh when eyes and ears needed a break  from our work.  Also, Solomon Mines Studio had the unique opportunity to take Chef Greg's "Tour of the world" palatable dinner meals. We went to Italy, France, Asia, america and the stopped at Mars."Awsome menue..." "First class all the way baby, the man can cook!!!..." "No hot sauce needed, great natural flavor! Very Healthy! Thanks GB." you can comment of Greg Bobs Healty Cookin for musicians at www.myspace.com/ashevillehorns.  Stay tuned in for Mixing Pt 2 i"the Asheville Sessions"  and for more news to come...
